If you uninstall Checkout Plus, all of your Checkout Plus customizations and configurations will be permanently deleted.
If you reinstall Checkout Plus later, your previous customizations will not be restored and will need to be created again.
What happens to my Checkout Plus features?
Once Checkout Plus is uninstalled, features powered by the app will stop functioning. This can include:
Checkout customizations
Checkout upsells
Payment customizations
Shipping & delivery customizations
Order validations
Post-purchase offers
Thank You and Order Status page customizations
Other features powered by Checkout Plus
Your Shopify store and checkout will continue to operate using Shopify’s standard functionality.
Will uninstalling Checkout Plus break my checkout?
No. Uninstalling Checkout Plus will not prevent customers from completing checkout.
Checkout Plus features will simply no longer run, and your checkout will continue using Shopify’s standard functionality along with any other apps or customizations you have installed.
Will my customizations be saved if I reinstall?
No. Uninstalling Checkout Plus permanently deletes your Checkout Plus customizations and configurations.
If you decide to reinstall the app in the future, you will need to set up your Checkout Plus features and customizations again.
What happens to my subscription?
Checkout Plus billing is managed through Shopify. When you uninstall the app, your active Checkout Plus subscription is canceled through Shopify after the app is uninstalled.
